This is an original painting from my 2017 Collection ‘Hot to Cool’

A field near Huttons Ambo North Yorkshire in high summer. I was fascinated by the path going off into the distance and the golden grasses on a hot day. I had my canvases and paints in a wheelbarrow with paints and palette. The title for this painting resonated with the rare beauty of the scene. A moment in time. A countryside that is constantly changing and the fact that I usually have this walk totally to myself.

The painting is supplied in a beautifully handcrafted frame made from a combination of hand painted pine and solid oak by local Yorkshire craftsmen and women.
