Light play was painted outside, barefoot, in the early morning dew. Depicting the pronounced light and shadow in high summer in the Yorkshire Arboretum.

The painting is supplied in a beautifully handpainted double frame with gold leaf, created by local Yorkshire craftsmen and women.
